Expectations on Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru are sky-high among fans and trade circles.
It is known news that Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the role of Major Ajay Krishna in this film Sarileru Neekevvaru, who returns to Kurnool town and locks horns with local politicians. Ever since the makers erected a giant Kondareddy Buruju set in Hyderabad, there has been a rumor that Sarileru Neekevvaru will feature an intense faction backdrop set in Rayalaseema. However, the Anil Ravipudi has busted the rumor.
Recently during the media interaction, Anil Ravipudi was asked about the scenes, which he shot at giant Kondareddy Buruju set, he said that there will be no faction track in the movie Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Konda Reddy Fort in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh (AP) is known as Kondareddy Buruju. Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu had shot his blockbuster movie Okkaduat this location in 2003. After 16 years, Mahesh Babu was back to the same location for Sarileru Neekevvaru. But this time, the producers of Okkadu recreated the fort at Ramoji Film City. It is heard that the makers shelled out more than Rs 1 crore on the recreation of Kurnool’s Kondareddy Buruju in Ramoji Film City.
When Anil Ravipdui was asked about the story of Sarileru Neekevvaru, to which he replied, “Mahesh Babu starrer is a blend of patriotism and family emotions. The story mainly revolves around Mahesh Babu, Vijayashanti and Prakash Raj.”
Sarileru Neekevvaru has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead and it is bankrolled by AK Entertainments, GMB Entertainments, and Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie also has Naresh, Sangeeta, Rajendra Prasad, Bandla Ganesh, Pradeep Rawat, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Pavitra Lokesh and others in supporting roles.
