It is known that Young Mega Prince Varun Tej has started shooting for a sports drama which is being made in the back drop of boxing. Debutante Kiran Korrapati is debuting as director with this movie. Stellar star cast such as Nadiya, Upendra are playing crucial roles in the movie. It has completed shooting first schedule and while second schedule is about to begin, corona pandemic forced to stall the shoot.
Varun Tej has trained extensively for more four months to get his body right for the role and be in the shoes of a boxer. Olympic Gold Medalist Tony Jeffries in Los Angeles, USA trained Varun Tej hard in US and after that Varun Tej in Mumbai continued training under Neeraj Goyat who is the first Indian boxer to have made it to WBC world rankings.
Now there are speculations that in the lock down period, Varun Tej is not continuing his training and as a result is bulking up the weight which means all the training will be waste.
But close sources to Varun revealed that he is following strict diet even in this lock down period and his personal boxing trainer is with him in this lock down. So he is continuing his practice as well which means no need to worry.
