Directed by Sudeepto Sen, The Kerala Story starring Adah Sharma was a successful venture at the box office. However, the film The Kerala Story has yet to receive an offer from any OTT.
There is strong opposition to this movie in some places. Support is available somewhere. The film was banned in West Bengal. Despite the controversy, The Kerala Story received huge response at the box office. It brought huge profits. But no OTT platform has taken it up till date. The makers said they have not received any offers from any OTT yet. In an interview, the director of The Kerala Story, Sudeepto Sen, said that the hype of the film coming to the OTT platform is untrue. No proper offer was received from any OTT flat form regarding this film.
Sudeepto Sen said that the entire Bollywood is conspiring against them. After the success of this film at the box office, some detractors from the industry have expressed their opinion. He added, “We have not received any suitable offers for this film yet. It seems that many have united against us and decided to punish us.”
The Kerala Story has already collected Rs 200+ cr at the box office. But Sudipto Sen is looking to get huge money from OTTs as well.
