It is known news that after wrapping up the shoot of Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi will start working for his upcoming Telugu film, the remake of Malayalam movie Lucifer, which will be helmed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame and bankrolled under the banner of Konidela Productions.
Recently during the media interaction, Chiranjeevi himself announced that young director Sujeeth would direct Lucifer remake. The role of Mohan Lal will be reprised by Chiranjeevi and the role of Prithviraj is likely to be essayed by Ram Charan. It is also being heard that Chiranjeevi is planning to bring Salman Khan on the board. Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Suhashini will play a crucial role in Chiranjeevi starrer Lucifer remake but now the sources revealed that the makers are going to approach Khushbu in this film.
The latest report suggests that Kollywood veteran actress Khushbu Sundar is all set to play the role of Manju Warrier from the original and will make her screen presence in the role of Chiranjeevi’ brother.
In past Khushbu and Chiru have worked together for the movie Stalin, directed by A. R. Murugadoss, which had Trisha Krishnan in the female lead. In this film Khushbu Sundar essayed the role of his sister.
