With the success of Allu Arjun‘s movie Pushpa: The Rise, Samantha Ruth Prabhu became the talk of the town. While she has been a popular South Indian actress, she gained quite some attention in the north after her success in ‘The Family Man 2’. According to reports, Samantha charges Rs 3 Cr per project. According to the latest buzz, Samantha is now to be second top heroine in terms of fame and is considered to be the second highest paid actress in South Indian cinema after lady Superstar Nayanthara. The reports are coming that Samantha charges Rs 3 cr per film while it was also reported that Samantha had charged a whooping Rs 1.5 cr to appear in a song in Sukumar’ magnum opus Pushpa: The Rise.
Samantha has proved that she brings in much fame and profit for the movie she acts in. Soon she will be seen playing one of the female lead in Tamil drama ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ which is directed by Vignesh Shivan. The movie also has Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Nayanthara charges around Rs 5-6 crs per film.
On the otherside, Samantha is now shooting for women-centric film Yashoda and is waiting for the release of Women centric film Shaakuntalam.
