Naresh Vijaya Krishna, the son of Vijaya Nirmala, has been roped in NTR biopic, based on the life of legendary actor and former late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Naresh will be seen playing the role of role of filmmaker, Bugata Venkata Subba Rao, better known as B. A. Subba Rao.
Naresh has already joined the sets of NTR biopic, which is progressing at brisk pace in Ramjo Film City. B. A. Subba Rao started his career in 1950 with Palletoori Pilla starring NTR, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Anjali Devi as story, screenplay writer, director and producer. He is the person who gave NTR, the versatile actor politician, the first chance as a hero in this film. It was a minor commercial hit and both B. A. Subba Rao and NTR gained a good reputation from it.
- A. Subba Rao made Raju Peda in 1954 with NTR and Sudhakar in lead roles. It is a remake of the novel by Mark Twain and Hollywood movie The Prince and the Paupe.
Naresh was last seen in Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer romantic entertainer Sammohanam, where he played Sudheer Babu’s father. It will be very interesting to see Naresh Vijaya Krishna in the role of B. A. Subba Rao in NTR biopic, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna will reprise the role of his father in the direction of National award winning director Krish.
Recently the makers roped Murali Sharma to play Chakrapani in NTR. Vidya Balan is playing NTR’s wife Basavatarakam. Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta is essaying filmmaker L.V.Prasad in NTR biopic which is being bankrolled by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri.
Naresh ventured into cinema as a child artiste in 1970. He has been the part of around 200 movies. Naresh made his debut as an actor in a lead role with Prema Sankellu in 1982, directed by his mother.
