NTR biopic is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s dream project. It’s first part NTR Kathanayakudu has already hit the theaters on 9th January 2019, on the eve of Sankranthi, but unfortunately the movie has turned out commercially flop at the box office. Now all eyes are on NTR Mahanayakudu. Earlier it was heard that it will be released on 8th February 2019 but on the eve of Republic day, when the makers released a poster of NTR Mahanayakudu, they did not reveal the arrival date of the movie at the theaters. After the release of NTR Kathanayakudu, various rumours have made rounds on the film’s release.
The source said that the makers were decided to release NTR Mahanayakudu on 21st February, but now they are planning to release the movie on the occasion of Shivarathri. The sources say that Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan starrer NTR Mahanayakudu might release on 1st March as an auspicious Maha Shivarathri gift for the movie lovers and Nandamuri Fans. It seems that the makers are locking the best slot for the release.
On the otherside, Ram Gopal Varma is also coming up with an upcoming movie Lakshmi’s NTR, based on the life of late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR).
Ram Gopal Varma has announced that his Telugu film on NTR titled Lakshmi’s NTR will clash with the second installment of Krish’s directorial venture , NTR Mahanayakudu.
However, this is not the first time that RGV has taken a dig at Balakrishna starrer NTR biopic. After NTR Kathanayakudu failed to perform at the box office, Ram Gopal Varma said that views of Nadendla Bhaskara Rao’s interview on YouTube are more than the ticket sales of the movie.
NTR Mahanayakudu is based on the life and political career of NTR, jointly produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, Vibri Media banner.
