Ram Setu is an upcoming Indian Hindi language action-adventure film directed by Abhishek Sharma and has the music by Chandan Saxena. The film starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Satya Dev in the lead roles. The movie follows an archeologist investigating the nature of Ram Setu, known in English as Adam’s Bridge. Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Ram Setu finally has a release date. Ram Setu will hit theatres on 25th October.
The upcoming film Ram Setu revolves around the star cast following an archaeologist, essayed by Akshay Kumar, investigating into the nature of Ram Setu. The movie is based on the historical Rama Setu bridge that connects Rameswaram Island on the southeast coast of Tamil Nadu, India, to Mannar Island on the northwest coast of Sri Lanka. According to the epic Ramayana, Ram Setu bridge was built by Lord Sri Rama and his monkey army to reach Lanka and save Mata Sita from the demon Ravana.
On the otherside, this year Akashay Kumar was seen playing the lead roles in Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan and Cuttputlli. And he will be next seen in Selfiee, OMG 2 and the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru which will arrive at the theaters in 2023.
