Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava has a huge fan-following on social media. It is known news that Gunasekhar who is popular for making Rudhramadevi, has decided to make a woman centric movie titled Shakuntalam under his home banner Guna Team Works.
Shakuntalam is the mythological story and a part of Mahabharata about Sakunthala and King Dushyanta’s romantic story. After making an announcement regarding Shakuntalam, Gunasekhar also revealed that he has already approached two top actresses to play the titular role. One of them is Pooja Hegde.
But the sources say that Pooja Hegde has said no to Gunasekhar for Shakuntalam as she is not ready to act in a woman centric movie concepts so early in her career. Also, Pooja had to play a mother on screen at one point and so she rejected the offer to act in Shakuntalam.
The reports are also coming that Gunasekhar is planning to bring Anushka Shetty on the board to play the lead role in his film.
