Love Story completes one year: Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer romantic saga Love Story written and directed by Sekhar Kammula, has completed one years of its theatrical release . Produced by Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, the film stars Rajeev Kanakala, Devayani, Easwari Rao and Uttej in the supporting roles. It is all about the story of an inter-caste relationship between Revanth (Chaitanya) and Mounika (Pallavi) who meet in the city while pursuing their dreams.
Though the movie was initially scheduled to release on 2nd April 2020 but was deferred multiple times due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The film is theatrically released on 24th September 2021 and received mixed reviews from critics who praised the performances of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi while criticizing its lengthy runtime.
The film netted Rs 8.75 crore in India on its first day, the highest since theatres reopened and started showing cinemas, after the second covid wave. Naga Chaitanya starrer grossed over Rs 60 crore at the box office, against a budget of Rs 30 crore made it a commercially successful venture. #OneYearOfLoveStory is currently trending on Twitter.
