The latest feature OxygenOS 12 has been updated to the OnePlus 9R smartphone that was introduced last year. The novel feature comes with various altercations, accelerating the version to Android 12 and joining the February Android security patch. Multi-level dark mode settings is one of the altercations featured in the smartphone.
The smartphone provides a new OnePlus shelf, Canvas AOD 2.0, etc. Additionally, a full changelog is also available. The smartphone is a beta build and you may run into a few bugs until the stable update comes out. Just know about how to install the open beta build without interruptions.
Installation process for OxygenOS 12 :
First of all, download the beta build through the link mentioned in the forums. The size of the file measures about 3,79GB and may take sometime to finish the download. After downloading, use the stock file manager app to place the file in your downloads folder. Then the appeared file name ends with ‘.zip.jar’ and you have to remove the ‘.jar’ for the file to be converted into a zip file. Now, move it to the main internal storage directory. This is your internal storage section, where folders like Downloads, pictures, music, etc exist.
After renaming the file and placing it in the internal storage, go to settings > System > System Updates and click on the three-dot menu on the top-right and select Local Upgrade. A window should open up showing the file which was placed recently by you in the root. Then select it and wait for the phone to install it and restart when it has triggered.
