Samantha Akkineni was last seen playing the female lead in romantic entertainer Jaanu, the remake of Tamil film 96 in which Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan played the lead role. Though Oh Baby girl has signed couple of the movies, but yet to announce officially.
She has already wrapped up the shoot of web series The Family Man Season 2 in which Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani are playing the lead roles. Samantha, who has been known for heartwarming roles like in Majili and Oh Baby, will be playing a terrorist in The Family Man Season 2. This is her first negative role since she debuted in Gautham Menon’ directorial venture Ye Maya Chesave last decade. It will be very interesting to see her in an unusual role!
The web series The Family Man Season 2is gearing up for July and it marks the next release of Samantha Akkineni. The post-production work is in the final stages. Along with other languages, Samantha Akkineni also dubbed for her role in English. Amazon Prime bankrolled Samantha, Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani starrer ‘The Family Man: Season 2’.
According to the latest update, Samantha Akkineni has also signed the movies, which will be bankrolled by top production houses Mythri Movie Makers, Sony Pictures.
