Yashoda is an action drama which has Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular role. The movie is based on real-life crimes around surrogacy which is helmed by Tamil director duo Hari and Harish. They made their Tollywood debut with Yashoda. To make the story a bit more interesting and thrilling, the makers added the elements like science fiction. The movie was released yesterday in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. And it received the positive response by the movie lovers and critics on its release day. After watching the trailer, the movie lovers who thought that this is just a movie set in the background of Surrogacy were surprised. After watching they got the feeling that this is a completely different genre of movie. This is a bit of a minus point in terms of story.
The first half of the first 40 minutes of Yashoda is very slow. The second half makes the feeling that the action scenes have been stretched unnecessarily. There is no family elements in this film. One of the biggest minus points of Yashoda are the logical issues. The film is set in a surrogacy center which is shown as hitech and filled with cameras. But Samantha escapes them easily.
