It is known news that Power Star Pawan Kalyan will star in the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which will be helmed by Saagar K Chandra. The makers have also roped Rana Daggubati in this film to play one of the lead roles. Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati will reprise the roles of Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran respectively in this remake. Apparently, Pawan Kalyan is providing the screenplay for the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
Recently it was heard that Trivikram Srinivas has made some changes to the remake and now it is being heard that Pawan Kalyan is providing the screenplay for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.
Aishwarya Rajesh has been roped in this film and she will make her screen presence in the role of Rana Daggubati’ wife and currently the makers are in the hunt of another actress. Earlier there was a strong buzz that the makers are planning to rope Sai Pallavi in this film to play the role of Pawan Kalyan’ wife but she demanded huge remuneration, so the makers dropped the idea. Samuthirakani is on the board to essay Rana Daggubati’ father in this film.
Directed by Sachy, the film Ayyappanum Koshiyum tells the story of its title characters, Ayyappan Nair and Koshy Kurian.
