Apart from Payal, the film also has iSmart Shankar fame Nabha Natesh and Priyanka Jawalkar is the female lead role. Vennela Kishore and Satya are playing the crucial role. Bobby Simha is main antagonist in this flick. SS Thaman has been roped in to compose the tunes for Disco Raja and Sai Sriram is handling the cinematography whereas Navin Nooli is the editor.
Director VI Anand, who made his directorial debut with Hrudayam Ekkada Unnadiand , is helming Ravi Teja and Payal Rajput starrer Disco Raja.
Ravi Teja was last seen in Amar Akbar Anthony, directed by Srinu Vaitla, and bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Praveen Marpuri under the banner Mythri Movie Makers, which was bombed at the box office. The film had Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz in the female lead.
