Pindam Movie Review and Rating: Srikanth Sriram, Kushee Ravi, Eswari Rao, Srinivas Avasarala, Ravi Varma and others starrer Pindam, helmed by Saikiran Daida has hit the theaters on 15th December 2023. Let’s see the story of Pindam.

Story: Lok Nath (Srinivas Vasarala) interviews Annamma (Eswari Rao), who is a famous Demonologist, for his research. So when asked if there is a most difficult case in her career, she says that it was an incident that happened to a family in Suklapet in the 1990s. Antony (Sriram) lands in a house with his wife Mary (Khushee Ravi) who is pregnant and their two children including his mother. But since then everything is going suspicious in their house. What is really bothering them in that house? Did something happen in that house before that? If it happens, how will their family get out of it? To get these answers, one should watch the movie Pindam on silver screen.

 Plus Points:

·         Performance

·         BGM

·         Flashback

 Minus Points:

·         Lack of thrilling moments

·         First half

·         Run time

Performance: All the main leads in this film have given solid performances. Eswari Rao has given a solid performance  in the role of Demonologist. Sriram and Khushee Ravi also gave a very natural performance. Srinivas Avasarala’s character is not written well. Also, the child actress who appeared as their youngest daughter along with them is surprising in the film. Both kids  Baby Chaitra and Baby Leisha are brilliant in their respective roles.

Technical: The production values are good in this film. But technically some precautions were missed. Even in the time of the 1990s, the present objects are also seen.  The music is good. Also the cinematography is fine. Editing and VFX should be better. And when it comes to the director Sai Kiran Daida, it must be said that he has done only average work in this movie strictly. His concept was good but he delayed presenting it. A lot of unnecessary scenes should be reduced and an effort should be made to convey the intended point quickly. He also missed the logic. Also the climax should be presented better. The run time of this movie is too long. It seems that the point that the director wanted to show has been stretched unnecessarily. And most of the scenes are not so thrilling.  The logics are also badly missed at some places. The flashback portions are interesting.

Analysis: Overall, Pindam is a regular horror thriller with very few decent moments. The lead actors have given promising performances in this Pindam movie. The background score and thrill elements at some places is good. But the rest of the movie goes smoothly.
