We all have the habit of slipping up while talking. But, there is a saying from the wise people that one should be careful with their words while in everyone. This seems to be missed by our Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
On digging to the details it was known that on Thursday this leader trolled on the internet over his mismatched knowledge on two renowned scientists. On speaking to achieving target of a double-sized economy, he brought the mathematics in between the topic. In the meeting with the Board of Trade, he asserted that mathematics didn’t help Albert Einstein in discovering gravity. Due to which he was trolled by many on social media platforms. Twitteratis pointed saying Issac Newton discovered gravity and Einstein was responsible for the theory of relativity.
Minister Piyush Goyal said that “Do not get into the calculations that you see on television…Oh if you are looking at USD 5 trillion economies, the country will have to grow at 12 percent, today it is growing at 6-7 percent.”
He further added saying, “Do not get into those maths. Those maths have never helped Einstein discover gravity. If he had only gone by structured formulae and what was past knowledge, I do not think there would have been any innovation in this world”.
Yes, he wrongly framed the discovery of gravity with the renowned scientist Einstein who is responsible for the theory of relativity.
