On 14th February, when the whole world was celebrating Valentine’s day with so much energy, it turned out to be an extremely sad day for Tamil actor Yuthan Balaji. The ‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’ fame actor got divorced with his wife Preethi on Valentine Day.
Yuthan Balaji had married Preethi in 2016, after a one-hand-a-half-year relationship they decided to part ways. Balaji and his wife had differences, for which they approached the court. The couple applied for divorce at the Madras High Court and after the court hearing, Preethi and Balaji got their divorce granted on 14th February.
This news is confirmed by the actor himself as he posted a note on social media. The note read, “While everyone asked what plans for #Valentines Day? God had a different plan for me! Woke up and headed to the high court, where they declared divorce! Yes! It is official, got a mutual divorce. But still happy #ValentinesDay to everyone.”
Yuthan Balaji made his debut in the 2009 film, Pattalam bankrolled by N. Linguswamy, and he was last seen in Nagarvalam which was released last year.
