Praveena Nair is a popular film, television actress and voice artist. She is known for her role as Parvati Devi in the show Devi Mahatmyam. She has acted in leading and supporting roles in many Malayalam films and leading television serials. Last year she filed a complaint with the police recently alleging that her photos and her family’s photos are morphed and published in an obscene manner. Meanwhile, the police had arrested a Delhi-based student, Pakyaraj, who published the pics in an obscene manner but later he got the bail. This time Praveena stated that her photographs are still being morphed and circulated on the internet. She said that after getting bail, he started abusing her daughter in an act of revenge. He morphed her daughter’s photos and shared it on social media.
This time Praveena and her daughter have again filed a fresh case with the cybercrime department saying that their photographs are morphed and leaked online.
Praveena made her debut as a child star in the Malayalam film Gauri which was released in 1992. In Kollywood, she is known for acting in Theeran Akhamari Udu, Vetrivel, Sami 2, Komali, Teddy, and Labam. Praveena is also a dubbing artist and has rendered her voice for several top actresses in Mollywood.
