The issue of movie ticket prices has once again become a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh. The film unit has asked the government to give permission to increase the ticket prices of Chiranjeevi starrer Bholaa Shankar by Rs 25. But the government has not given permission to increase the prices. There are claims that Jagan government rejected Bholaa Shankar’s request due to Chiranjeevi’ recent comments against the YCP government.
AP FDC chairman and film actor Posani Krishna Murali made interesting comments on the prices of movie tickets. Posani Krishna Murali said that heroes are taking remunerations of fifty to sixty crores per film, if the heroes reduce the remunerations and make films, the burden on the producers will be reduced. Posani says that all the heroes are well settled.
He said that there are no records of heroes being destroyed in the film industry except for the loss of junior artists and small producers. Posani said that if the prices of movie tickets are increased, the money will go into the pockets of directors and heroes, and the heroes will buy buildings with that money.
