Power Star Movie Review: Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’ Power Star is available on RGV World Theatre and let’s see the story of it.

Story: Prawan Kalyan is an actor turned politician who feels disgusted after his loss in the election. His party fails to win the votes of people. He meets a series of characters. And later Ram Gopal Varma meets Prawan Kalyan and tells him what went wrong. What happens next, forms the rest of the story of Power Star.

Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • Casting

 Minus Points:

  • Narration
  • Poor technical values
  • Production Values

Performance:  The film maker RGV is always perfect when it comes to casting. Ram Gopal Varma tries to say through the film Power Star that he is an ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan. The actor who plays the role of Prawan Kalyan delivers a terrific performance. His body language and performance are appreciable. He plays the role with ease and this credit goes to one and one only Ram Gopal Varma.  Kathi Mahesh and RGV too acted in the film. RGV showcases some noted celebs in a funny manner in Power Star.

Technical: The Dialogues are good. The camerawork and editing are neat. The film Power Star is executed in a simple manner. With this film, RGV has proved that he is not against Pawan Kalyan and likes him more than anyone else.  Power Star is a low budget film and has  poor technical values. The production values are poor.

Analysis:  Ram Gopal Varma’ Power Star is just like a short film that showcases the life of Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan after he lost the elections. Earlier everyone thought that Power Star is a satire on Pawan Kalyan but Ram Gopal Varma shows that Pawan Kalyan  is a sincere person who is misguided.
