In the month of April, this year, there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Director Maruthi is busy with the pre-production work of his upcoming film with Prabhas which has Malavika Mohanan as the leading lady. It was also heard that it is an action comedy and titled, Raja Deluxe. The shooting was postponed due to Prabhas’s other commitments. A few weeks ago, Twitterati was abuzz with the news regarding Prabhas’s upcoming film with Maruthi which would be launched by the end of May but it also did not happen. Sources revealed that they were supposed to start the shooting in June. But the latest report suggested that due to Prabhas’s other commitments, the team would only be able to shoot in August. But there is no official update regarding this project.
Now few are saying that this combination may not work out for too many reasons. Prabhas has already confirmed number of big budget projects which are progressing at the brisk pace but require a lot of time and he will be busy till 2024. It means Maruthi has to wait at least two more years for Prabhas.
Prabhas will be seen in Adipurush, Salaar, Project K and others. On the otherside, Maruthi is waiting for the release of Gopichand starrer Pakka Commercial.
