Young Rebel star Prabhas is now gearing up for the release of his most-anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD, earlier known as Project K, which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Nag Ashwin who is best known for helming Mahanati. Kalki 2989D is the first film after the terrible debacle of Prabhas’ last movie Adipurush. Apart from the Baahubali actor, Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture also has B town actress Deepika Padukone as the leading lady. The upcoming drama marks the first collaboration of Prabhas and Deepika.
Few days ago the team unveiled the first glimpse and title of the sci-fi film at the prestigious San Diego Comic Con 2023. The revelation took place in the presence of producer C Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, Prabhas, Nag Ashwin, Pabhas and Kamal Haasan. Deepika Padukone failed to mark her presence at the Comic Con gathering.
During an interview, when Prabhas was asked about his working experience with his co star Deepika Padukone in Kalki 2898 AD, to which he called Deepika a ‘biggest superstar’, and also added that she is the most beautiful lady who is making waves globally.
Baahubali star added: Deepika Padukone’ just vibrant when she comes into the set, and I always loved her. I wanted to work with her, and this is the first time we are working together for a project.”
