This film Salaar is going to be directed by Prashanth Neel, who is known for making KGF that created records at the box office. With the crazy combination young Rebel Star Prabhas and Prashanth Neel, the expectations mounted among the audience as both have got huge popularity across the country with their huge movies, Baahubali series and KGF.
However, Prabhas’ fans wondered why the name Salaar has been chosen as the title. The fans and the movie lovers have got confused with the real meaning of Salaar.
So, the director Prashanth Neel spoke about the meaning and the secret behind he has picked up Saaho star Prabhas for the lead role. According to Prashanth, Prabhas is one who has the ability to handle this powerful role and that is the reason why he has picked up the Baahubali hero. And, the helmer revealed the meaning of the title.
Salaar is a Urdu word which means an effective leader or the right hand person who stands for the king and protect the people of the kingdom. Many are speculating that Prabhas plays a Muslim leader in Salaar but Prashanth Neel also confirmed that though the word is taken from Urdu but Prabhas is not playing the role of a Muslim leader in Salaar.
