The pan-Indian actor Prabhas has a number of big budget dramas in pipeline and one of them is Adipurush where he is essaying the role of Raghava. Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut, is based on the epic Ramayana. The film is produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages, the film stars Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan- Lankesh. The Baahubali actor Prabhas is confirmed to attend the Dussehra celebrations about to happen in Delhi from 26th September, 2022, to 5th October, 2022. Prabhas will be burning the effigy of Raavan at the famous Lav Kush Ramleela near Red Fort in Delhi on the day of the occasion of Dusshera.
The reports are also coming that the makers of Adipurus are planning to start the promotions of Adipurush from Ayodhya on the first day of Navaratri. It is also being heard that the first teaser is expected to be released on that day. The official confirmation is awaited regarding this. The shoot of Adipurush has been already completed and currently it is in the post production stage.
On the other side, Prabhas is also working for Salaar. The action drama ‘Salaar’ coming towards the end of 2023 is helmed by Prashanth Neel who is coming off a golden run with ‘KGF’ so the industry believes that it will be a good flick. But it is ‘Adipurush’, releasing in January 2023, that will be the litmus test for the Telugu star Prabhas.
