Tanhaji, directed by Om Raut, the film is based on the story of Tanaji Malusare, the 17th-century Maratha warrior and general of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Om Raut’ debut feature film Tanhiji made him popular and currently he is working with Prabhas for his next directorial venture titled Adipurush. Few days ago the winners of the 68th National Film Awards were announced, Om Raut and Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn’ film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior received the National Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
The movie was released in 2020 and collected over Rs 368 cr worldwide at the box office and was declared the highest grosser of the year. Ajay Devgn received the Best Actor Award for his performance in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Tanhaji grabbed three awards including Best Actor (Ajay Devgan), Best Popular Film and Best Costume Design. The fans of Prabhas are now very happy and Adiurush’ helmer film received three national awards. The reports are coming that for the same reason, Prabhas has decided to host a party for Om Raut and few other important teammates of the director. Soon Om Raut will land in Hyderabad to attend the party which will be hosted by Radhe Shyam star.
