In the era of re-release of earlier hit films in theatres, Rebel star Prabhas’s one of the blockbusters, Billa has joined the trend. Yes, Prabhas‘s fans association is planning to re-release the film is 4K print in theatres on the actor’s birthday that falls on October 23rd.
The film is getting ready in its 4K print to amuse the audience on the actor’s special day. The news was announced on social media, but it seems unofficial. It is also expected that the official confirmation will be out soon within days. Anyhow, the news is creating mania among the public, as the movie was a smash hit at the box office during its theatrical run.
Billa is billed to be a gangster film, helmed by Meher Ramesh. Anushka Shetty played the female lead, whereas, Krishnam Raju, Hansika Motwani, Namitha, Rahman and Kelly Dorjee are the key characters. Mani Sharma composed lyrical tunes, which are chartbusters. It was released in theatres on April 3, 2009.
