Senior actor Prakash Raj, who has been a big critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, met Telangana state chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Thursday i.e 29th March. After a brief meeting, Prakash Raj accompanied KCR to the Telangana assembly from his house. They discussed the prevailing political scenario in the country.
Prakash Raj has been criticizing Modi government ever since the brutal murder of Kannada based journalist Gauri Lankesh in Bangalore.
On the otherside, KCR is making strong moves to set up a Federal Front in conjunction with Bengal CM Mamta Bannerjee. With both being opposers of Narendra Modi, their meeting has stirred up interest.
On Monday Prakash Raj tweeted that the promises made in 2014 remained unfulfilled. He wrote on the wall of Twitter, “PROMISE TOOTHPASTE sold in 2014 .. ( forget brushing the teeth ) could not bring a smile on distressed farmers or jobless youth of my country……..do you believe PROMISE TOOTHPASTE ….sold yesterday …in Karnataka rally …..will bring it…. #justasking.”
Speculations are rife that the actor is willing to join politics but it is yet to be known whether he would contest the general elections which are scheduled next year.
