17 minutes of footage from Nandamuri Balakrishna and Soundarya starrer shelved project Narthanasala will be getting a direct digital release on 24th October on the occasion of Dussehra. The mythological film, which also marked the directorial debut of Balakrishna, will now premiere online on NBK Theatre through Shreyas ET from 24th October. This is the last film of veteran actress Soundarya who died in a chopper crash long ago. The price for streaming Narthanasala starring Balakrishna and Soundarya, is fixed as Rs 50.
Balakrishna has already announced that he will share a part of the profits for charity. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, some of Balakrishna fans are in plans to pay close to Rs 10 lakhs to stream Narthanasala.
Balakrishna stated that he would donate all the revenue from the film to charity. Narthanasala, the dream project of Balakrishna was launched on 1st March 2004, in Hyderabad. While Balakrishna played three roles (Arjuna, Bruhannala, and Keechakudu), Sai Kumar portrayed Duryodhanudu. Soundarya, Srihari, and Uday Kiran played the roles of Draupadi, Bheemudu, and Abhimanyudu, respectively.
The film Narthanasala also has Asin as Uttara, Kota Srinivasa Rao as Virata Raju, Sarath Babu as Dharmaraju, and director K Vishwanath in a crucial role.
