“Prince” is the latest film directed by director Anudeep KV, who gained tremendous popularity with the film “Jathi Ratnalu“. Even though this Tamil movie starring Sivakarthikeyan in the title role is being promoted as a Telugu Bilingual, it looks like a Tamil dubbed movie. And let’s see how this comedy entertainer impressed the audience..!!
Story: In fact, there is nothing to say about this story, this is the story, this is the twist in the movie. Anand (Sivakarthikeyan) is adored by the whole village. It is noteworthy that his father Viswanadham (Satyaraj) also agrees to that. What is the real story of Anand? Why was he exposed? is the story of “Prince”.
Performance of Actors: In any movie, the chemistry of the hero-heroines works well. But the chemistry of Sivakarthikeyan & Sathyaraj worked brilliantly in this film. Their combination comedy is amazing. Maria impressed with her beauty-acting. Prem ji & other Tamil actors impressed.
TECHNOLOGY PERFORMANCE: It is not common to make a film without a story, without a story to work with. Anudeep KV did this feat for the second time and felt no problem. Anudeep, who used Sivakarthikeyan’s work as an actor to the fullest, falters a bit when it comes to comedy punch dialogues.
Hence the comedy is not fully mature. The way the climax episode is convincing is good. Thaman elevates the film with his music. Cinematography, production design & art work are good.
Analysis: If you can enjoy the logic, the story-telling, punchy dialogues and senseless comedy, you will enjoy “Prince”. Otherwise, it’s a bit difficult to enjoy this slapstick comedy.
