Protests against popular actor Prakash Raj took place in Kalaburigi, Karnataka.  Recently, after Prakash Raj made anti-Hindu remarks, many Hindu organizations took up protest activities. Protesters dressed in black and raised slogans against Prakash Raj. Black flags were displayed. Meanwhile, the police arrested the protestors.

Earlier, the representatives of the Hindu Sanstha met the District Collector of Kalaburi and submitted a petition. They explained the reasons behind their protest against the actor. They demanded that Prakash Raj be banned from entering the town. This is not the first time that protests have been organized against him. Recently in Karnataka’s Shivmogga district, the areas he visited were cleaned with cow urine by pro-Hindu activists.

This is not the first incident that Prakash Raj has witnessed opposition by the right-wing groups.

It is noteworthy that whenever Prakash Raj gets a chance, he makes comments against Prime Minister Modi and the central government. In the end, he posted sarcastic posts on the launch of Chandrayaan-3 and became a public outcry. It is noteworthy that Prakash Raj shared a cartoon of a tea seller with the caption ‘Breaking news: First photo from the moon’. However, later Prakash Raj clarified that it was a reference to a Malayalam joke.
