A fighter will be bankrolled jointly by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee. Their previous outing, iSmart Shankar starring energetic actor Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh, and Nidhhi Agerwal, which was released recently, turned out to be a massive success.

It may be noted here that Janhvi Kapoor had earlier told in an interview last year that she would prefer to share the screen space with South star Vijay Deverakonda if given a chance.

Puri Jagannadh is trying hard to rope Janhvi Kapoor in. It needs to be seen whether Boney and Sridevi’s daughter will accept his offer or not.

Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with romantic drama Dhadak, which was released on 20th July 2018. Currently, the actress has multiple projects in her kitty- Gunjan Saxena, Roohi Afza and Ghost, which are in different production stages. All three movies are slated to worldwide release in 2020.

Puri Jagannadh’s previous offering iSmart Shankar was released on 18th July and the movie has completed 100 days run at the box office. Apart from the lead pair, the film had Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Pavithra Lokesh in supporting roles. The film had the music by Mani Sharma whereas Raj Thota handled the cinematography.

Puri Jagannadh has delivered back-to-back commercially flop movies, but the huge success of his last venture iSmart Shankar has brought back his fallen glory.
