Once again, Stylish Star Allu Arjun is in the news headlines and the reason behind it is Pushpa: The Rise.
Directed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film traced the rise of Pushpa Raj (AlluArjun), a labourer who rises through the ranks of the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate & faces off against the egotistical police officer. The Telugu rural drama Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna was also dubbed into other Indian languages and went on to become India’s biggest box office hit of 2021. Bunny won India’s National Film Awards for this rural drama. Pushpa The Rise was screened on the occasion of the Berlin Film Festival.
At the Berlin Film Festival, Allu Arjun said that the conflict between Pushpa Raj and Banwar Singh Shekawat, the characterization, the presentation, the scale of the film & the problems the lead character faces in Pushpa 2 are going to be bigger and better than part one. Bunny added: I have a few interesting projects in the pipeline and all of them will be made on an epic scale.
Berlin will be Allu Arjun’s first time in Germany and his first time at a film festival. Currently, the actor is busy in his second part Pushpa 2: The Rule.
