Senior YSRCP leader and businessman Prasad V Potluri, more commonly known as PVP, was been booked by the Banjara Hills police for trespassing in his neighbour’s property and threatening them using his ‘goons’. The cop booked the case following a complaint from BJP senior leader Dharmavaram Kottam Aruna’s daughter Shruthi Reddy.
The police said that the complainant DK Shruti Reddy, 41, a resident of Road Number 7, Banjara Hills, revealed that 16th January in the afternoon of January 16, a man named Balaji, along with other goons employed by PVP harassed and intimidated her and her family regarding their society’s common compound wall.
The police added that Shruti Reddy approached them and filed a complaint alleging that the YSRCP leader and a few others had issued threats to her family. They trespassed and damaged their community wall with drilling machines to erect the iron sheets. When they asked to stop these illegal activities, they threatened her family and not only this they also abused them in filthy language. Following this, a case was registered with the police on charges dealing with trespass, causing damage.
