On the occasion of Raai Laxmi’ birthday, the makers of her upcoming film Cinderella released a new surprise poster. The new birthday poster shows Raai Laxmi as Thulasi. Dressed in a simple shirt, with rettai jadai tied up with ribbons, she is shown receiving a princess crown from a blood splattered hand from a mirror.
Raai Laxmi is playing the lead role in horror thriller drama Cinderella. Apart from her, the film also has Sakshi Agarwal. Earlier it was slated to hit the theaters in the month of March but delayed due to coronavirus hurdle. Helmed by Vinoo Venkatesh, who previously worked with SJ Suryah on Isai, and bankrolled by SS Productions, the film Cinderella is said to be a horror thriller with elements of fantasy.
In past during an interview, Raai Laxmi had revealed that the film Cinderella is a compilation of 3 stories and she has three different characterizations in this horror film.
The film Cinderella will see Raai Laxmi don 3 different looks, including a rockstar. Cinderella is looking to break the usual fairy tale ‘prince saves princess’ storyline and is a woman centric film with no romantic angle for Raai Laxmi’ character. According to the makers, the film has elements of emotion, fantasy and sentiments, making it a multi-genre film.
