Radhika Apte is a well-known face for the South and North Indian audiences. She started her acting journey through theatre and made her Bollywood debut with Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi in 2005. Now the bold and talented actress Radhika Apte is making her directorial debut with a short film in which Gulshan Devaiah and Shahana Goswami are playing the lead roles. Her 30-minute film titled Sleepwalkers, which is jointly produced by Honey Trehan, Abhishek Chaubey and Lalit Sharma.

Recently during the media interaction, Radhika Apte talked about her short film Sleepwalkers, she revealed, “The film’s execution was a very sudden idea. It all happened suddenly. When I was writing the story, Honey Trehan, Abhishek Chaubey and Lalit Sharma came forward to produce this short film. I am learning a lot in the process.”

Lalit Sharma, who is one of the producers of Sleepwalkers said, “Sleepwalkers will set us up to reflect on our everyday actions and the expectations we have in our relationship with Mother Nature. The movie will not only entertain the audiences but also leave questioning and reflecting on your own action and deeds.”

Abhishek Chaubey also talked about his Radhika Apte’ directorial venture and said: “Lalit, Honey Trehan and I are extremely proud to be a part of this film Sleepwalkers by Radhika Apte and eager to see the audience experience Sleepwalkers and the other films in our anthology Lost and Found soon.”

Currently, Radhika Apte is on the ninth cloud. It is known the news that recently she bagged Best Actress nominations at 2019 Emmy Awards for her performance in Lust Stories. Lust Stories has also bagged nomination at the Emmy Awards. Lust Stories is an anthology film, which consisted of four short film segments, which were directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. Radhika Apte’s segment in the film was helmed by Anurag Kashyap.
