The veteran director K Raghavendra Rao has announced a sequel to his blockbuster movie Pelli Sandadi , which was released in 1996. The film Pelli Sandadi starred Srikanth, Ravali and Deepthi Bhatnagar in the lead roles. Tehmovie also had Kaikala Satyanarayana, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Babu Mohan, M Balaiah, Sivaji Raja, AVS, Raja Ravindra, and others, had a phenomenal run in cinemas. According to the latest update, apart from bankrolling the film, Raghavendra Rao is also going to supervise the direction of the sequel.
After along gap of 24 years, Raghavendra Rao is bringing back this formulaic blockbuster. Raghavendr Rao made official announcement regarding the sequel by releasing a video on his microblogging page.
The sources say that Srikanth’s eldest son Roshan will play the male lead in the sequel of Pelli Sandadi and currently the makers are in the hunt of a female lead, which is produced under Arka Media Works in association with RK Film Associates.
The script for Pelli Sandadi sequel has been completed and its is being heard that the movie will go on the floor very soon.
Baahubali music director MM Keeravani has been roped in this film to score the music and he has already begun recording songs for the film. The story and dialogues of this sequel will be penned by Shiva Shakti Datta and Sreedhar Seepana.
