Raghavendra Rao, the legendary director of Telugu Cinema, recently revealed that he will direct more devotional films in future. Following the stupendous success of ‘Annamayya’, Raghavendra Rao went on to direct critical and commercially successful ‘Sri Ramadasu’, ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’ and ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ with Nagarjuna. The sources close to KRR say that the director has planned to make two devotional movies, one with Venkatesh Daggubati and other with Comedian turned actor Sunil. The script work for both upcoming devotional movies are going on.
Many are saying that they understand Raghavendra Rao wanting to helm a devotional movie with Venkatesh as the director has already made devotional hit movies with the other three senior star heroes but they are not able to understand how KRR is planning to make movie with Sunil who has delivered a series of flop movies as lead actor.
