Kukatpally Special Operations Team busted a rave party and detained 44 youngsters, including the 3 organizers, from an apartment at Vivek Nagar under Kukatpally police station limits, on Sunday. The police also recovered huge quantities of alcohol, drugs and hookah from their possession. The task force police raided a reputed pub in Banjara Hills at around 3 AM today morning and arrested around 150 people, including the owner. This has become a sensational topic as many noted people from the Telugu film industry are also there among them. It is being heard that all of them used drugs at the party held in the pub. Bigg Boss winner and Tollywood singer Rahul Sipliganj was one of the them. Along with Rahul, an actress belonging to a top Telugu film family was present at the party. Confirmation is awaited if they were involved in substance abuse.
More than 150 youths, including girls, were taken into the police custody after the police raided the rave party.
All the people those arrested were shifted to Banjara Hills Police Station. It is said that they were detained after operating pub till 3 AM against the rules.
Kukatpally SI said that Rakesh Reddy, Mohammed Imran and Dayal Biswas were throwing a rave party at an apartment in Vivek Nagar area. The apartment belonged to Rakesh Reddy. While Rakesh Reddy was the main organizer, Dayal and Imran assisted him with throwing the party.
