Raja Chaudhary, the Controversial Bigg Boss 2 contestant and Bhojpuri actor, who has been accused of domestic violence by ex-wife Shweta Tiwari, has been arrested for assault and misdemeanour by Uttar Pradesh police.
According to the latest update, Raja Chaudhary who was shooting for his upcoming Bojpuri movie Sangam Rishton Ka, in Bithoor, near Kanpur, allegedly got involved in a drunken brawl with his film crew and a group of people late night on Friday i.e 1st June 2018.
Sanjeev Suman, SP Kanpur West said, “The cast has been registered against Raja Chaudhary under under IPC 323, 504 and 506 and we sent him for medical tests in the night. Investigations are underway.”
The source says that Raja Chaudhary displayed physical violence towards film’s director on the sets. Sarvesh Thakur, the producer of the film, who was not able to tolerate the misbehavior of actor, asked him to leave the sets and the actor went away from there. Later after consuming the alcohol, he came back at the sets at Nana Rao Park and misbehaved Raju R Dwivedi, the director of photography of the film and his family members. So Sarvesh Thakur and Raju R Dwivedi called the police. At the police station too Raja Chaudhary allegedly misbehaved with the cops and few media persons.
It is also heard that when Raja Chaudhary was taken to the hospital for medical test, he slapped the doctor and also misbehaved with staff.
The sources say that in 2007, Raja Chaudhay has physically assaulted his wife Shweta Tiwari. In October 2010, when Shweta Tiwari was inside the house of controversial reality show Bigg Boss, Raja abused Shweta’s mother and also slapped her to-be husband Abhinav Kohli, in Mumbai. In 2011, he was arrested by the Mumbai police when his neighbour filed a complaint against the actor and stated that the actor tried to obtain a sim card connection in his name.
Raja Chaudhary has been the part of several television serials like Your Honour, Daddy Samjha Karo, Chandramukhi, Aane Wala Pal, Kahani Chandrakanta Ki and Adaalat .
Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary tied the knot in 2007 and they have a daughter Palak together, they separated in 2007 and finally divorced in 2012.
Shweta Tiwari is well known face for TV audiences as she has been the part of several TV and reality shows. In 2011, she won the reality show, Bigg Boss 4 with Rs 10 million as prize money.
