Baahubali and RRR fame SS Rajamouli attended the Toronto International Film Festival in the US. TIFF the largest film festival in North America, hosted Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli as one of the keynote speakers. In an interaction, the RRR director shared an update about his film with Mahesh Babu, about Baahubali, RRR’s global reception and many more.
Rajamouli said that he is still in his nascent steps. Though RRR became a global blockbuster, he still sticks to his style of narration and storytelling. Rajamouli added, “I need to constantly fine-tune myself. I have to learn a lot.”
Rajamouli also enumerated the directors and films that influenced his form. He mentioned that Hollywood’s iconic film-maker Mel Gibson had a strong influence on his craft. “Mel Gibson pushes the boundaries when it comes to the action. How he does it is related to a strong emotional drive.
During his interaction at the TIFF 2022, Rajamouli also revealed that his next film is going to be ‘globe-trotter adventure movie’. He said that his visual technique was meant to enhance the emotional impact of his stories, especially during the critical moments in their plots.
About Baahubali success, Rajamouli said that he took a risk and pushed boundaries, and it worked in his favor.
