On the occasion of Friendship day, the makers of RRR released the first song Dosti, that went viral on the Internet and created records. The music video features singers Hemachandra, Anirudh Ravichander, Amit Trivedi, Vijay Yesudas and Yazin Nizar, and veteran music composer MM Keeravani directing them. On the social media, Rajamouli revealed that he wasn’t the one who directed this video song Dosti.
SS Rajamouli, the helmer of RRR said, “SS Karthikeya’ idea to shoot the music video. I was shooting the climax song of RRR. He and Satish krishnan shot Dosti with Dishesh Krishnan. Great job boys. I was quite happy with how it turned out but didn’t expect this wonderful response.” According to Rajamouli, his son SS Karthikeya the promotional Dosti song.
Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Lahari Music bagged the music rights for all five languages of RRR. The music video was shot with all the five singers taking the lead in their respective languages with music director Keeravani mentoring them. The song also offers a brief glimpse of the lead actors, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR, at the end, greeting each other and joining hands.
Dosti song revolves around the theme of friendship between the two lead characters.
