Pokuri Babu Rao is a popular producer in Telugu Film Industry. He made good hits with T.Krishna and Mutyala Subbaiah. Recently he gave an interview to a noted youtube channel and said, Paruchuri Brothers gave me a hit like ‘Prajaswamyam’. Otherwise they are very busy those days. It was difficult to meet and talk with them.
“In such circumstances, Marudhuri Raja prepared a story and brought it. Paruchuri brothers said what changes should be made in that story. The movie directed by Mutyala Subbaiah did well at the box office.”
Pokuri Babu Rao added, “My favorite hero in the industry is Rajasekhar. Our friendship was more than the admiration between a hero and a producer. In the beginning, Rajasekhar was not a good hero. Even though there were up and downs in our career from time to time, but our friendship remains the same.”
Pokuri Babu Rao has worked in popular movies like Em Pillo Em Pillado, Ontari. Pokuri Babu Rao’s previous film to hit theatres was Em Pillo Em Pillado in 2010. He acted in the movies Prema Tapassu and Ragulaunnu Bharatham. When the movies flopped, he left acting. Pokuri Babu Rao is known for Desamlo Dongalupaddaru (1985), Anna (1994) and Yagnam (2004).
