As it became a super hit at the box office , it was expected that Jailer would break the records in the same range in OTT as well. But now the movie is leaked and the makers feel that there will be a lot of damage. Leading OTT Netflix paid a lump sum of Rs 100 crores to get Jailer movie rights . Due to this leak, the OTT will incur losses.
Famous trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan also revealed through social media that Jailer movie HD print has been leaked online. He expressed shock at this. It is noteworthy that the original HD print without any watermarks, with the original 5.1 surround sound has been leaked. This has worried both the theater owners and the OTT.
The Jailer movie, which has been a hit from the first day, has stormed the box office. It has collected more than Rs 300 crores so far in India alone. It is remarkable that it is more than Rs 600 crores globally. These records were broken on the 19th day of the movie’s release. It is known that Jailer movie will be released on August 10.
