Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth is currently working for his upcoming action drama Jailer, which is progressing at the brisk pace. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer is set to be released on August 10, 2023. Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the shooting for his part. Recently, the shooting of the film has been completely wrapped up. Another interesting news regarding the film’s overseas rights has been revealed. According to the latest report, Rajinikanth starrer most awaited film Jailer overseas rights has been bought by Ayngaran International for around Rs 32 Crores.
Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the film Jailer is said to be an action thriller. The production house of Rajinikanth starrer, Sun Pictures, recently shared some photographs from the last day of the shooting with the team celebrating the end of filming with a cake being cut by 2.0 and Robo fame Rajinikanth himself.
Jailer is Rajinikanth’s 169th. Born Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, Rajinikanth started his career in 1975 with Tamil film Apoorva Raagangal. Since then he has starred in films across Indian languages and attained cult status.
Apart from Jailer, Rajinikanth will also be seen in an extended cameo later this year in Lyca Productions’ Lal Salaam, which is being directed by his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush.
