However, Corona pandemic has hugely affected the proceedings. Rajinikanth irrespective of hits or flops has been doing films. His latest film is Annaatthe in the direction of Siva.
The movie’s shooting has been halted due to the pandemic situation. There are speculations that the film’s shooting will resume from November but that’s not the case. Rajinikanth is continuing to take rest.
He just couldn’t take risk as the corona virus cases haven’t gone down completely and a possibility of the second wave is on rise.
Keerthy Suresh, Nayantara are playing the female leads in the movie. As per the latest update, with the delay in the shooting, Annaatthe has been pushed back to the second half of 2021.
