Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kaala is one of the most awaited movie of this year. Helmed by Kabali fame Pa. Ranjith, in which Rajinikanth will be seen wearing black colour clothes as a symbol of the downtrodden and honest poor. According to the latest update, the audio launch event of Kaala will take place on 9th May. Santosh Narayanan has composed the music. Rajini’s son-in-law Dhanush has confirmed this news as he tweeted, “Wunderbar films presents, Superstar’s #Kaala audio will release on #may9th … get ready to celebrate thalaivars swag with Santosh narayanan’s stylish music.”
Apart from Rajinikanth, the film has other stars like Pankaj Tripathi, Huma Qureshi and Easwari Rao in supporting roles. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 7th June. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 27th April, locking horns with the Hollywood biggie Avengers: Infinity War. However, due to the sudden strike of the Tamil Film Producer Council, the release of Kaala was postponed. The upcoming gangster drama is jointly bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Lyca Productions.
