After several delays due to unforeseen circumstances versatile actor Kamal Haasan starrer much awaited movie ‘Indian 2’ is back on track. The shoot is going to be started from 19th August at Rajahmundry in Andhra. We have already reported that gorgeous diva Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in this upcoming film and she will be seen playing crucial role in Indian 2. According to the latest update, Rakul Preet Singh will join the sets of Indian 2 in Rajahmundry.
She will be seen playing the love interest of Siddharth, who plays the grandson of the vigilante Senapathi and son of Chandru, both characters essayed by Kamal Haasan in the first part. The sources close to the makers confirmed that Rakul Preet Singh start the shoot of Indian 2 soon in Rajahmundry.
Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2, was announced is 2018, has been long overdue due to actor’ political commitments. In the month of April, it was heard that Lyca Productions had backed out of project due to the high cost of productions.
Apart from Rakul Preet Singh, Indian 2 also has Kajal Aggarwal, Vidyut Jamwal, Delhi Ganesh, LKG actor Balaji, and Nedumudi Venu in supporting roles in Indian 2, the directorial venture of Shankar. Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography , and A. Sreekhar Prasad is the editor.
On the other-side, Rakul Preet Singh is currently busy in her upcoming romantic movie Manmadhudu 2 in which she is playing the love interest of Akkineni Nagarjuna and the movie is slated to hit the theaters on 9th August.
