Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised that Tollywood is significantly influencing the culture and economy of India. Amit Shah congratulated Ram Charan for winning the Oscar for the song Naatu Naatu and the success of RRR movie.
It is known that RRR movie song Naatu Naatu won the Oscar award in the best original song category and created history as the first Telugu film to won an Oscar.
Megastar Chiranjeevi presented a traditional silk stole to the minister while RRR actor gifted him a bouquet of flowers. Amit Shah extended his heartiest congratulatory message to RRR star Ram Charan and felicitated him with a red silk stole as well.
