Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the role of freedom fighter Uyyalwada Narasimha Reddy in upcoming movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is bankrolled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. Ram Charan roped few British actors to the play the various roles of East India Company officials in Sye Raa.
According to the latest update, the makers of Sye Raa went to London for a month and auditioned almost 100 British actors. More than 100 British actors were auditioned in London for a period of 30 days. And, among all, only 7 actors were picked for major roles in Sye Raa.
Sye Raa is all about the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the rebellion leader from Rayalaseema who fought against the British East India Company. Sye Raa has completed the censor formalities and has received U/A certificate with a runtime of 2 hours 44 minutes. The movie is made on the budget of Rs 270 crore.
The sources say that it was the director Surender Reddy’ idea to rope real British actors for those roles. It was a very tough task to bring British actors to India and then to Georgia for shoots.
The movie is slated to hit the theaters on 2nd October 2019 in multiple languages.
